Wynoochee River Fishing
The Wynoochee River is a sixty mile long river located in the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. It supports great runs of Steelhead throughout the year and also has good runs of Kings and Silvers that you can find in October and November. We offer fully Guided Wynoochee River Fishing Trips in the lower portion of the river, while the fish are still fresh and aggressive! The Wynoochee River gets a lot of fishing pressure, so we try to run trips during the week if possible.
When fishing the “Nooch”, we use all of the traditional Salmon and Steelhead methods, along with Spey and Fly fishing for Steelhead. The Winter Run Steelhead are fun to Spey fish for on the Wynoochee because they seem to be a bit more aggressive than Steelhead that you would find in other rivers. You can also pick up a few Sea-Run Cutthroat Trout as early as July when using fly gear.
